50 Year Challenge
2019 marks the 50th year that the Epsilon Phi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. was chartered on the campus of McNeese State University. The chapter was the first black Greek-lettered fraternity on campus and the first Louisiana chapter of the fraternity to break color barriers at a predominantly white institution.
With the rising costs of chapter expenses, we are seeking donations to support chapter activities. We are also extending a special challenge for all Epsilon Phi brothers to donate $50 to commemorate this wondrous achievement of 50 years on McNeese's campus.
These donations will be put to good use as we promote brotherhood while achieving in academics by offering scholarships, hosting activities such as mental health awareness for college students and financial literacy, and extending service to all mankind by donating to St. Jude Children's Hospital and disaster relief efforts.
If you prefer to support us by writing a check, please make checks payable to the McNeese Foundation and mail to the Foundation at Box 91989, Lake Charles, LA 70609. Any donation will be greatly appreciated.
